One of the first things people think about laboratory equipment, lab benches and science lab furniture is that you can't get it quickly. And when they do, they think used lab equipment is more readily available, and cheap. Wrong...on both accounts. There are not a lot of used lab tables and used lab cabinets on the market, and if you find some, there usually is not enough of one color, style, height and style to complete a lab. And the price is not that great once you clean it up, repaint it and ship it to your location.
Lab furniture can still be delivered by the end of 2009 if you are willing to be flexible in the cabinet configurations you look for and are willing to accept the color that a manufacturer / distributor has in stock. You probably won't find wood lab furniture or plastic laminate lab furniture in stock, only painted steel lab furniture.
